PPP (Pandemic Puppy Power)

When I saw that dog shelter adoptions were way up during the Covid-19 pandemic, I knew that silver lining in a dark situation could be the basis my 2020 personal project. Partnering with Paws Crossed Animal Shelter in Elmsford, NY, I photographed families with their dogs adopted during the pandemic. Each family was asked to write a couple of paragraphs about how their pandemic puppy improved and brightened their lives during this challenging time. Paws Crossed was able to use my photos for their ongoing marketing efforts, and we all had a great time creating these wonderful memories for the families involved.
